Entrepreneurship & Innovation

At UConn, we are building a culture of innovation.

So enterprising students and businesses have access to the resources they need. And research is nurtured to breed new inventions that can go on to change the world.

We are connecting entrepreneurs to funding opportunities, training, facilities – and one another. And fostering businesses that make a lasting impact on ÀÖÊÓƵ's economy and the future of industry.

Discovering solutions for a better future.

From out of the blue, ideas emerge and grow into actions. Actions that reach glaciers in Alaska and coral communities in the Gulf of Maine. Stretching from sea to sky, exploring and creating — advancing efforts in clean energy, modern agriculture, climate change, and human rights.

At UConn, our faculty, staff, and students are dedicated to learning more about the world around them through research and translating those discoveries into innovations. Collaborative research is carried out within the departments of 14 schools and colleges and more than 100 research centers and institutes.
